Home Of the Brave, a grass roots movement to honor America’s Fallen Heroes

In gratitude for their service and sacrifice, we are making quilts to present to the next of kin of our Fallen Heroes. The quilts are replicas of Civil War U. S. Sanitary Commission Quilts, constructed with Civil War era replica fabrics. Read the history of Civil War quilts.

The Geer family of Cortez, Colorado are holding the quilt presented to them in honor of George Geer. His sister, parents and grandmother received the quilt December 21, 2005.
